Connecticut-based TRU Events and Marketing Solutions is a full service tradeshow, event, and experiential marketing agency representing a range of brands – including giants like DIAGEO, Pepsi, Starbucks, Fritos, and KFC.

 

TRU covers a lot of ground – literally and figuratively.

 

Not only do they work with clients to conceive of memorable brand experiences, they also help create them – which usually includes building, warehousing, and distributing the staging and promotional items needed. And as a result, they have a lot of stuff to keep track of. Enter Bicycle Theory.

 

Inventory Management + Ordering System

 

Bicycle Theory created a custom Web-based inventory management system that allows TRU to manage a warehouse of promotional and event items for multiple clients and their brands.

Some of the more noteworthy features include the following:

  • A client-facing website with searchable catalog of items using custom data attributes.
  • User accounts that allow TRU to grant system permissions to client-specific items.
  • The ability to “order” items from the inventory and designate if for warehouse pickup or delivery.
  • Custom inventory reports for both TRU and their clients.
